A nice workout climbing the 311 winding stone steps up to the viewing platform for great views of the city. A certificate awaits you at the bottom after a heart pounding ascent & the easier descent. The staircase is tight & passing on it can be difficult. Enjoy. DON'T LOOK DOWN!!

A surprising view of the city makes the 311 steps and the 4 pounds entry worth while. A great stop as you're exploring a bit of the cities history or a perfect lunch time activity getting some fresh air. You receive a cute certificate at the end too.

It was a great experience to climb up.. We went with my 5 year old son and he enjoyed it. The stairs are very crooked. At a time only one person could go. View of tower bridge and the shards is awesome from the top. Only 10 people can stand at a time at the top and is very well protected and safe at top.

We stopped by the monument on our trip around the city. It's incredibly impressive when you consider how old it is. A huge feat of architectural engineering. You can actually pay to walk up the monument, but it's a billion steps hire, so we didn't bother!

A lot of steps to reach the top of the monument but you have a really nice view. It's maybe nothing for people with acrophobia. You get a certificate that's a kinda great for the traveller album.
